Newsletter #18 – BEING CREATIVE WITH THE CAMERA

BEING CREATIVE WITH THE CAMERA

A windy and wet Wednesday evening, saw 40 brave souls turn up to be creative. It is always reassuring to see members entering, clutching at tripods and camera bags, warming up their flashes. We didn’t really know what Dave had in store for us, talk of bursting balloons was whispered. One casualty before the start, Brian B turned up, threw up and then went home. Hope you are feeling better Bri.

Thanks to all who brought boxes of stuff for us to photograph. What a big glass Tim supplied. A manic mini whizzed around the floor, thank you Sharron. The strips of LED lights proved popular, interesting, moody portraits were possible. Balloons bursting when we least expected it.

And what was Ian on? Poking that fish eye lens up noses and into everyone’s eyes!

Thanks for all the help with chairs and tidying up the kitchen, much appreciated.
