Afternoon at Durbrough Farm

On Satruday 31st October, John & Marion, Colin, George, Shelia and myself joined Dave B who had organised a trip to visit Janet White at her farm at Aisholt.

We were blessed with wonderful weather and after a brief induction from our host we were taken after which most of us accepted the invitation and  were taken on a very informative tour by John Baker.

Going from field to field gave us a completely new  scene to enjoy every time.

In one field Peter acted as lookout especially when bending over to photograph mushrooms etc,

for Jasper and depending on his mood if you were caught would depend on whether you were butted or mounted.

Then down to the pond before into more fields where Cedric, from one of the farms herds of Hereford cattle, responded to Peters call to come and meet us.

Then into the cider orchard then back through the woods to home where we were invited into the kitchen to meet Moss the new boarder collie puppy and a welcome cup of tea.

Everyone agreed it was a wonderful opportunity to take photographs and I would recommend anyone, if you have the chance to go, take it, you won’t be disappointed. (Don’t forget your wellies if you go in the winter) J  Bri B.
