INTERNAL Competition Rules

INTERNAL COMPETITIONS

For ‘internal’ competitions, we the members score the images ourselves. Little or no discussion takes place about the images. Members score each other via the score sheets provided. Certificates are given out at the end of the evening to the winners. Both digital and print entries are accepted. Internal competition may follow a theme which will be clearly labelled, or it will be labelled ‘OPEN’ meaning that entries can be of ANY subject.

  • ENTRIES ARE ANONYMOUS ON THE NIGHT
  • DIGITAL & PRINT ENTRIES ALLOWED
  • 2 ENTRIES MAXIMUM
  • SUBMISSION DATE TWO WEEKS BEFORE COMPETITION
  • ENTRIES ON THE NIGHT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
  • RESIZING PREFERED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL – FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO RESIZE, RESOLUTION IS 1920 PIXEL WIDE  x 1080 PIXEL HIGH
  • RENAMING IS NECESSARY – SEE ‘RENAMING RULES’ TAB ABOVE
  • NEW ENTRIES ONLY (IMAGES THAT HAVE BEEN ENTERED BEFORE CANNOT BE RE-ENTERED)
  • THIRD PARTY CONTENT IS ALLOWED (overlays, textures NOT produced by you can be included)
  • FOR DETAILS ON HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES, SEE ‘HOW TO SUBMIT IMAGES’ TAB ABOVE
  • THE IMAGE SECRETARY HAS THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ENTRIES DUE TO TIME RESTRICTIONS
  • MEMBERS SHOULD NOT SCORE THEIR OWN ENTRIES

  • DIGITAL IMAGES SHOULD BE HANDED IN ON THE SPECIFIED SUBMISSION DATE (See Programme)
  • DIGITAL IMAGES SHOULD BE HANDED TO THE IMAGE SECRETARY ON A MEMORY STICK
  • MEMORY STICKS SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR NAME AND IMAGES EASY TO FIND
  • DIGITAL IMAGES CAN ALSO BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL TO  images@sedgemoorcc.co.uk
  • EMAIL ENTRIES SHOULD CLEARLY STATE WHICH EVENT THEY ARE TO BE ENTERED IN TO

 

PRINT:

  • PRINTS SHOULD BE HANDED IN ON THE SPECIFIED SUBMISSION DATE (See Programme)
