MACRO INTERNAL COMPETITION TEMPORARY RULES

SCC RULES FOR THE INTERNAL COMPETITION THEMED ‘CLOSE-UP MACRO/ MICRO’  on  NOV 25th 2015

PLEASE NOTE: THESE RULES ARE FOR THIS COMPETITION ONLY UNTIL WE CAN FINALISE THE OVERALL RULES FOR COMPETITIONS AND POST THEM ON THE WEBSITE.

Judging and feedback will be given in a friendly impartial manner, giving a score out of twenty. The strengths and weaknesses of an image may be openly discussed but the photographer’s identity will not be revealed and no name or identifying logo/signature should been seen.

You can enter a total of two images and they can be in print form or digital Jpeg files, but you need to mark the entry number in order of preference as, depending on time and the number of entries, your second entry may not be sown.

The image must be your own, and have been created with in the last two years, and not entered previously in ANY of our club competitions before.

PRINTS

Prints need to be handed to our image secretary on the night of the event as specified in the Newsletter and in the Programmes. The prints can be between 8×6 inches and A3 (12×17inches). They can be mounted on any board up to 40×50cms. A sticky white label should be placed on the back in the top left corner. No staples, clips or Velcro to be used. Your entry number (1 or 2), title, and membership number need to be clearly written on it as shown below. Other printable media like canvas can be used.
